Club Quattro first started out in Shibuya, Tokyo on June 28th 1988. The word QUATTRO is italian for the number "4". It was located in what was considered to be the 4th building of Shibuya PARCO, following PARCO PART1, PART2, and PART3. On June 1989, Nagoya was opened, followed by Shinsaibashi-Osaka on May 1991, and Hiroshima on December 2001. It became the only Live House operating in 4 major cities, Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka and Hiroshima. (Shinsaibashi Club Quattro was closed on September 30th 2011, and re-opened as Umeda Club Quattro on April 2012.)
Since the begining, Club Quattro has been bringing quality live music on stage, without boundry on genre or country of origin. In Japan, it has established the culture of listening to "good music"and "good live music" in clubs.
