Club Quattro first started out in Shibuya, Tokyo on June 28th 1988. The word QUATTRO is italian for the number "4". It was located in what was considered to be the 4th building of Shibuya PARCO, following PARCO PART1, PART2, and PART3. On June 1989, Nagoya was opened, followed by Shinsaibashi-Osaka on May 1991, and Hiroshima on December 2001. It became the only Live House operating in 4 major cities, Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka and Hiroshima. (Shinsaibashi Club Quattro was closed on September 30th 2011, and re-opened as Umeda Club Quattro on April 2012.)

Since the begining, Club Quattro has been bringing quality live music on stage, without boundry on genre or country of origin. In Japan, it has established the culture of listening to "good music"and "good live music" in clubs.

Club Quattro is also considered a gateway to success for artists around the world. Many artists take their first step at Club Quattro before going on becoming a huge star.

For example, J-POP artists who are reffered to as "Shibuya-kei(means Shibuya-style)", THE FLIPPER'S GUITAR, PIZZICATO FIVE and ORIGINAL LOVE.

Also artists such as THEE MICHELLE GUN ELEPHANT, TOKYO SKA PARADISE ORCHESTRA, ELEPHANT KASHIMASHI, MAGOKORO BROTHERS, HI-STANDARD, QURULI, CRAZY KEN BAND...and more have started out in and grown from Club Quattro. As to this day, Club Quattro is a landmark for those artists and bands trying to make it.

As for foreign artists, Club Quattro have introduced big names to Japan such as SADE, HALL & OATES, LENNY KRAVITS, ALANIS MORISSETTE, NIRVANA, OASIS, PRIMAL SCREAM, BJORK, THE SMASHING PUMPKINS, RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS, SONIC YOUTH, BEASTIE BOYS and NORAH JONES.

On November 2014, Quattro has started a new business and produced a Music Cafe & Bar named "QUATTRO LABO" in Kichijoji Tokyo.

Quattro has been, and will continue to build and offer a variety of city life style through music.
